Terms of use
Version 1.0, effective 12 October 2026
This policy is published in Arabic and English. For users in Egypt, if the two versions differ, the Arabic version applies.
2.1Agreement
These terms are a contract between you and Novantria Health LLC, operator of Dawaaka Rx. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you use it for a clinic, you confirm you may bind that clinic.
2.2What Dawaaka Rx is
A software tool that helps licensed doctors write, issue and share prescriptions and helps licensed pharmacies verify them. Dawaaka Rx is not a pharmacy, does not sell, stock, recommend, deliver or dispense medicine, does not provide medical advice or care, and does not create a doctor-patient relationship.
2.3Eligibility and verification
Professional accounts are for doctors registered with the Egyptian Medical Syndicate, pharmacists and pharmacies licensed under Pharmacy Law No. 127 of 1955, their authorized staff, and medical students or residents (training sandbox only). We may ask for proof and may suspend accounts we cannot verify.
2.4The doctor's responsibility
The doctor reviews and confirms every line and remains solely responsible for the clinical decision, the prescription and compliance with Egypt's Medical Liability Law and professional rules. Voice drafts, templates, reminders and alerts are aids; they can be wrong and never replace the doctor's judgment. Dawaaka Rx does not calculate doses and blocks controlled medicines.
2.5Signatures
Until we integrate a certification provider licensed under Egypt's E-Signature Law No. 15 of 2004, the printed prescription signed and stamped by the doctor is the document of record; the QR code shows that it was issued in Dawaaka Rx and has not been altered.
2.6Pharmacists
A pharmacist must use professional judgment, may use "Ask the prescriber" for a clarification, and must not dispense on a prescription that fails verification.
2.7Medicine information
It comes from the approved leaflet, is for professional reference and awareness, and does not replace the leaflet, the doctor or the pharmacist. Any promotional content for prescription medicines is shown only to verified healthcare professionals and only where approved by the Egyptian Drug Authority.
2.8Acceptable use
Do not share your login, enter data you have no right to, enter patient data outside the prescription workflow, attempt to access other users' data, reverse engineer or overload the service, or use it for anything unlawful.
2.9Subscriptions
Plans and prices are on the pricing page. Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. Prices exclude VAT where applicable. We will give 30 days' notice of any price change; founding prices are locked for 12 months. Refunds follow our Refund policy.
2.10Your content and data
You own the content you enter. You grant us a limited licence to host and process it only to provide the service. The clinic's patient data is handled under the Clinic Data Processing Agreement and our Privacy notice.
2.11Our intellectual property
The software, brand and designs belong to Novantria Health LLC. You may not copy or resell them.
2.12Availability
We aim for the service levels in our Service delivery policy but do not promise uninterrupted service. Keep printed or exported copies of anything you need for your records.
2.13Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is". Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Egypt's Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018 or other law that cannot be excluded.
2.14Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. We do not limit liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
2.15Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close it for a serious breach of these terms, a risk to patients or other users, or if the law requires. On closure, you can export your data for 90 days.
2.16Emergencies
Dawaaka Rx is not an emergency service. In Egypt, call 123 for an ambulance.
2.17Governing law and disputes
For services provided in Egypt, these terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Business disputes that cannot be settled within 30 days of written notice go to arbitration at the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration, in Cairo, in Arabic. This does not limit any consumer's right to go to the courts of Egypt.
